The pelagic longliner / Rod fisher 42 m is designed primarily for tuna fishing.
The rate of use is about 270 days a year. Fishing capacity is about 80 tonnes per campaign of up to 45 days.
The freezing facilities are installed to ensure a high quality of captured fish.
The general arrangement of the vessel is optimized for:
- The ergonomics at work for long lining activity
- Comfort (access to living areas)
- Security ( the crew work station is located on the fishing deck)
- Hygiene of the product
For the pelagic longliner, the hauling and the line setting areas are located on the main deck (hauling in the fore part and line setting at the rear part, at transom). The operation is optimized by the integration of the starboard alley-way.
