The Longliner 23.5 NG is a vessel mainly used for longline.
The rate of use is about 290 days a year for a total catching capacity of 960t Tuna per year.

A fish hold is integrated on lower deck forward of engine room. The capacity of the fish hold is 30 tonnes of loose fish. The tuna storage area temperature is maintained at -20°C approx and fitted with a -40°C freezing system.

The general arrangement of the vessel is optimized for:

  • The ergonomics at work for long lining activity
  • Comfort (access to living areas)
  • Security ( the crew work station is located on the fishing deck)
  • Hygiene of the product

The hull shape is designed to reduce the resistance and so the fuel consumption. A bulb improves the resistance (decreases the resistance) and pitch damping.
